I believe in new generations, the generations that are not always seen or heard in today's system, but that are our future. The Y generation of trainees that I have always supervised, the Z generation of the students where I give guest lectures, but also the Alpha generation of my two boys.

My goal is to bridge the gap between the world of established companies and the sustainable transitions the world needs. And to make that change by thinking from the outside in.

I take others with me with an open agenda. I believe in the power of 'not knowing' and asking questions. With ambitious solutions as the ultimate goal. When I am inside somewhere, I bring peace, inspiration and decisiveness. This creates movement and results. My bar is high, I like to go 'the extra mile' with head and heart in connection.

People are my goal. Common sense and concrete results for business and society are my ambition. I am intrinsically interested in people who want the best for the world. That is why I see it as my core task to build and maintain relationships in order to bring out the best in people and organizations. And especially to generate positive impact.

I feel at home in projects that look beyond today and in which sustainability, business development, transition and innovation go hand in hand. Moreover, I believe in family businesses, because it is they who take care of the next generation. With sustainable banking at Rabobank I turned business plans into successful brands. With a focus on the long term and practical applicability in the short term. Take 1 billion impact loans to finance impact within business, impact investments including Protix via Shift Invest and De Verspillingsfabriek with impact loans in Europe.
